Sleeping girl mixed media canvas

June came too soon!!  But here I am with another DT project for TPBP.  This one was a fun one because I wanted to try something new and it came out great! Using cheese cloth and Bev's laces as the background created a very unique background with elegant texture.  A definite must try!!  I used molding paste as an adhesive for the cheese cloth and laces, works wonders!!

The Z's are made of burlap string!! I added some glue and sprinkled some Donna Salazar Fairy dust glitter in pralines and cream for a shabby flair.

The girl is wearing a floral wreath of Shaved Ice by Stampendous and ribbon roses distressed with vintage white acrylic paint.  Behind her head are some pearl sprays for an angelic touch.

I used Shabby pink embossing enamel by Stampedous to tone down the color of the acrylic flower spray and it also gives it a shabby distressed look.
